This year, Blizzard has been giving away free stuff for its games each month via a collaboration with Amazon Prime. Diablo 4 has been no exception, though most of its Prime Gaming rewards have been Battle Pass tier skips–a useful, but not particularly interesting reward.
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer Shows Off Level 100 Diablo 4 Druid Build
Xbox chief Phil Spencer shows off his max level Druid build in Diablo 4 and reveals he needed to follow some advice to complete it.
However, for the next month, players can get an exciting Diablo 4 cosmetic item through Prime Gaming instead. From now until January 18, 2024, players can get the Death’s Burden mount bundle for free with the click of a button. This bundle includes three ghastly Diablo 4 mount cosmetics: the Bonemail horse armor, plus the Morgan’s Cage and Mort trophies. Diablo global community development director Adam Fletcher was one of the first people to advertise this new giveaway, which he posted on his personal Twitter.
How To Get Diablo 4 Prime Gaming Rewards
- Subscribe to Amazon Prime, or start a free trial if available.
- Connect Amazon Prime and Battle.net accounts.
- Claim the Death’s Burden bundle on the Diablo 4 Prime Gaming page.
- Log into Diablo 4, visit the Stables in any city, and equip the new cosmetics.
- Players must unlock mounts in Diablo 4 to use these cosmetics by reaching Act 4 in the main campaign.
The Death’s Burden mount bundle was previously available via the in-game store for 800 Platinum–about $8, making it much cheaper than some Diablo 4 mount bundles. Now, players can pick up this cosmetic at no charge if they have a subscription or free trial to Amazon Prime. There does not seem to be any refund or other reward for players who already purchased the Death’s Burden mount bundle with Platinum, so unfortunately, it seems these players are out of luck for the time being.
While they are at it, Blizzard fans should browse the Prime Gaming freebies for some of their other favorite franchises as well. World of Warcraft is giving away the Tabard of Fury transmog from the discontinued TCG, and Overwatch 2 players can get the Golfer: 76 skin. In addition, Hearthstone fans can add a random Epic card to their collections. If players grabbed a subscription or free trial to Amazon Prime for holiday shopping, they should be sure not to miss out on this free stuff while they have it.
