Adtech solutions provider adjoe unveils insightful data on mobile gaming behaviors among crypto app users.
In this analysis, adjoe utilized first-party data and shared behavioral insights from over 20 million crypto wallet users worldwide, spanning January to July 2023. The study explored users’ time spent in crypto wallets, their interactions with mobile gaming apps, and gaming preferences. The findings not only shed light on user behavior but also offer strategic initiatives for wallet publishers to enhance their performance and expand their apps through mobile games.
New study explores the intersection of crypto enthusiasts and mobile gamers.
According to the data, men tend to spend 34 percent more time in their crypto wallets than women. Interestingly, 35-44-year-olds, presumably financially established users, spend the most time in their wallets, almost 40 percent more than the average. This emphasizes their interest in financial planning and investing.
One of the key findings is that crypto wallet users are highly interested in mobile games. Around 80 percent of those actively engaging with a crypto wallet have at least three mobile games installed on their device, with 60 percent of them engaging with some kind of casual game. This indicates how aligning the crypto-earning experience with a collector’s mobile gaming behavior could be a powerful strategic move.
“Aligning mobile gaming and cryptocurrency can be a powerful way for crypto wallets to increase their brand’s connection with their target market. It will not just be a key way to increase current user engagement with their wallet; it can also be a less intimidating way for interested users to gain trust in collecting coins,” said Carly Ostasiewski, Director of Growth at adjoe.
